LoyaLoop
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how LoyaLoop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, demos, and loyalty services (collectively, the “Services”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who this applies to
We may process information about store owners and administrators, staff (for example, cashiers), and end customers who participate in a store’s loyalty program (for example, by phone number or visit activity). The store that uses LoyaLoop is usually the business deciding why customer data is collected; we process it on their behalf to run the program, subject to our agreement with them and this Policy.
2. Interactive demo & sample data
Parts of our site offer an interactive demo with fictional sample data. In the demo, certain preferences or edits may be stored locally in your browser (for example, via browser storage) so the experience feels realistic. That data stays on your device unless you clear it. It is not a live production account.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect or receive:
- Account & business data — such as name, email, business name, store locations, and billing details when you create or manage a paid account.
- Program & transaction data — such as loyalty balances, visits, rewards, and staff actions performed through LoyaLoop on behalf of a store.
- Customer contact data — such as phone numbers or similar identifiers a store collects for loyalty or marketing, only where permitted by law and the store’s own notices and consents (for example, SMS marketing where customers have opted in).
- Device & technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and logs used for security, reliability, and product improvement.
- Support communications — what you send us by email, chat, or phone when you contact support.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services (including loyalty features, dashboards, and device experiences).
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect security.
- Process payments and subscriptions when billing is enabled.
- Communicate about the Services, including service and policy updates.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us host, analyze, email, bill, or secure the Services (for example, cloud hosting or payment processors), under confidentiality and processing terms.
- The store that owns or operates the loyalty program — so they can run their business and comply with their own obligations to customers.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate notices where required.
We do not sell your personal information as a commodity. Where “sale” or “sharing” has specific legal meanings (for example, under U.S. state laws), we will provide any required choices and disclosures.
6. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute resolution needs. Retention periods may depend on whether you have an active subscription and what the store requests for its records.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Store customers should usually contact the store first for loyalty questions; store owners may contact us for account-level requests. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). If you believe we have collected a child’s information improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your country.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product message).
